Guidelines For Lithium Batteries:
As of January 1, 2008, travelers may no longer pack spare lithium batteries of any kind in checked baggage. Passengers wishing to carry spare lithium batteries for devices such as laptops, cell phones and cameras are now required to pack them in their carry-on baggage with the terminals covered or insulated. Travelers may check bags that contain batteries, as long as they are installed in electronic devices.

Please see the following web site for tips on traveling with spare batteries: http://safetravel.dot.gov/tips.html

Carry-On Baggage:
You are permitted one (1) piece of carry-on baggage not to exceed 48 linear inches (length plus width plus height), including the wheels and handle, not to exceed 35 pounds. Plus, you may also carry on one (1) smaller personal item to fit under the seat in front of you (i.e., purse, laptop, infant bag, etc.).

TSA requirements mandate that only alcohol that is provided by Sun Country Airlines and served by our flight attendants is allowed to be consumed on our flights. Duty free items purchased in the sterile area are exempt from the TSA regulation but are not allowed to be consumed onboard the aircraft.

Should the volume of carry-on baggage exceed the stowage capability of the aircraft, selected baggage will be appropriately tagged and placed in designated cargo compartments. Tagged bags may be retrieved from the baggage carousel at the final destination

Child Restraint Systems
Child restraint systems are permitted on-board when a ticket is purchased for the child. These items must be FAA-approved. No "booster seats" are permitted. Child restraint systems without the purchase of a ticket must be checked as baggage.

Mobility Devices
Mobility devices, crutches, canes, braces, or other mobility aids needed by the customer are not counted as additional carry-ons and must be stored in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Regulations. For additional information see our Special Needs Help Page.
